Our joint plans
The further development of our release and configuration management (RCM) with the objective of simplifying processes, optimising the infrastructure, delivering applications, and further developing customised solutions for our product families, development teams and customers. Support in the technical implementation and planning of the application lifecycle with a particular emphasis on: technology renewal, release control and deployment, and configuration management.
YOUR TASKS
- In the role of DevOps Engineer, you will support agile transformations and oversee the entire development lifecycle
- You will assist in the conception and implementation of state-of-the-art technologies and support our specialist departments and the management
- You enjoy working in an agile, cross-functional team, and view the fusion of development and operations as an added value for project and application operations
- With this in mind, you will build automated infrastructures using the appropriate CI/CD tools
- In the process, you will ensure the stability, reliability and security of our services and pipelines, making appropriate use of metrics, logging and vulnerability management tools
- You will oversee the going live of product families and initiate appropriate measures in the event of an error (failover/recovery)
- You will document operating procedures and configurations

What we expect
- You have analytical foresight and a tech brain, and are passionate about technological trends
- Formal training in an IT environment, a degree in (business) informatics or a similar qualification and a minimum of 3 years’ professional experience
- Experience in the administration of complex applications and multi-tier systems as well as load behaviour, scaling and performance
- You have or are eager to gain experience in database administration and modern cloud architectures, as well as in different application and security architectures
- You have expertise in at least two of the following tools on Linux (Jenkins, Elastic Stack, SonarQube, Grafana, Greenbone, Monitos, Docker (Kubernetes or Swarm), MariaDB/MySql and PostgreSQL)
- Your enjoyment in developing a highly automated infrastructure (e.g. Saltstack, Ansible, ...)
- You are able to familiarise yourself with new topics quickly and in a structured manner; you pursue your goals consistently, have a high degree of quality awareness, and are happy to share your knowledge with others
- (Object-oriented) programming (Perl, PHP or Python) is nothing new to you
- Fluent German and good English skills are a must
